REQUIRED MATERIALS FOR CLASS
Students are required to bring an independent reading book, a pencil, a spiral notebook and folder for my class. They will also need any homework or packet that we are currently working on. WEEKLY HOMEWORK: A Reading Log is due EVERY TUESDAY. Students have been instructed how to be successful in completing this assignment. They will not be accepted late. CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS GIVEN ON 11/5/09 Banneker and Roosevelt Reading: Reading Log and connection is due on Tuesday ALL Sixth Grade students: STUDY spelling words, vocabulary AND PREFIXES list!!! (See Week of 11/16 for more information) LOOKING FOR A BOOK FOR YOUR CHILD? * If you have sent written permission agreeing to replace any lost or damaged book, your child can borrow from our classroom library. Students regularly have opportunities to "check-out" books to read * If you prefer to get your own book for your child and don't know where to start, Scholastic Book Wizard can help give you ideas. It can give you a list of books based on your child's READING LEVEL and interest!
